Mr. Clowers is the father of Tiffany Clowers who is a member of both Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band. He also has a son on the spectrum who attends Kalles Jr. High. Mr. Clowers has worked in the IT field for 26 years with the last 23 at Expeditors International of Washington, Inc. He enjoys taking his family camping, trips to the ocean, fishing, watching cowboy TV at the fire pit, and spending time with his children.
He joined the Blue Notes Booster Club in order to help further the goals of the Club and see his daughter and her contemporaries get every opportunity to flourish in these all too short couple of years of high school so that they may grow as individuals and look back on this time in their lives with fondness and pride.
My name is Penni Ankrom. I have been married for 17 years and we have 2 great kids. When not working I enjoy spending time with my family and being involved in church activities.
My daughter is a sophomore here at Rogers and is in Wind Ensemble. I graduated from Rogers so you might say it holds a special place in my heart and am excited to be a part of the music community here. We as a board look forward to all the things to come and working along side of the kids and parents to make this year successful. I truly feel that now more than ever, this is the time to be involved and to support our kids. That's why I am here!
This is Jessica’s first year with the Blue Notes Booster Club, but since she has 3 boys who are all involved in music, it’s probably safe to say she’ll be with us awhile. Her oldest son is in the Rogers High School Jazz Band, Concert Band and Symphonic Band where he is part of the percussion section. Her middle son is at Ballou Jr. High and learning trumpet while her youngest is at Zeiger Elementary on the bell set.
Currently, Jessica works in Puyallup and brings with her 9+ years of bookkeeping experience which makes her a great fit for the Treasurer Position. She joined the Booster Club Board of Directors to fill a need, meet new people and get involved with the community. She lives on South Hill with her husband and boys and are excited for what the year brings. GO RAMS!
Mr. Stephen Pickard has been teaching at Rogers for 5 years and is in charge of Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and Jazz Band. Mr. Pickard received his Bachelors in Music Education from Central Washington University.
